 With
the explosion in passenger traffic, limited
expansion capacity at major airports, flight delays
have become an unfortunate everyday occurrence that has captured
the attention of the public, the Congress and the airline
industry. Most sites including sites owned by airlines, provide
only a fragmented view with
information that is not frequently updated and with extremely
limited search capabilities.
The challenge was to develop a solution
that would provide a broad range of users that included
passengers, meeters and greeters and related businesses, with
a simple, easy to use site that would provide real
time flight information, cost effectively.
